I rewatched Snowpiercer after watching the first couple episodes of the series that started last year. Still good the second time around, excited to see where the series goes, but I started watching it with my parents and I work late 3-4 nights a week, so timing when we can all watch together is slow.

Let me start with some backstory quickly for this one.

So, we are horror fanatics in my household. My fianc's coworker, who we will call Mr. T, asked us if would essentially "pre-screen" a film for him to see if it was safe for him to watch, or if its "too scary"; since Mr. T is not very into the genre. Someone told him about this film, which is called Antrum: The Deadliest Movie Ever Made. I guess he and his wife genuinely think it is a "cursed" movie.

We watched the film Tuesday evening. And let me tell you about this one...

TL;DR: If you want to waste 95 minutes of your life on this one, go for it. But don't say I didn't warn you that it is not worth it.

In the end, we didn't have the heart to tell Mr. T it was a terrible movie, because he was looking forward to watching it. We just told him that since his wife is very religious and skeptical of any sort of demonic/Satanic imagery, to watch it when she is not around, or to at least warn her before watching that she probably won't like it.

I realize this ended up being me just bashing it in the review, but that's how bad this movie was LOL.

I just watched 21 Jump Street (Jonah hill/Channing Tatum) for the first time! Normally these kinds of more crass comedies are not my cup of tea (like, all of Jonah hills other comedies lol) but it was so funny akdjdkska I really needed a pick me up today and this was it. Planning to watch the sequel tomorrow!

My kid wanted to watch a movie together before bed and chose that. It was my first time watching it and I loved it.

I think I watched the entirety of Detective Pikachu solely through YouTube clips. There was a playlist that put them in order. When compared the length of the playlist to the total runtime of the film, I think I was only missing about 20 minutes and the entire plot still made sense (I don't think there were any credits, which may have affected the official runtime).
