    Wtf?! :/

I know this sounds completely weird, and it is.
Anyone ever have this happen to them?

Basically, I was just taking a little nap to cure my boredom.
When suddenly, im half awake and aware of what's going on around me,
but I can't move.. at all. So I like, shake and try to get myself up.
Im awake and able to move after about 1-2 minutes of struggling.
    o-0
This happens often, and it's fucking freaky.

Hm: how is your blood pressure?

I used to get that every now and then, but it went away after I started running a couple of times a week.
    Fatality.

i actually had that happen to me once, but i merely shrug it off as sleeping in a bad position. feel like something's taking control over your body for a moment yeah? I think if it happens often do go see someone about it please?

Yeah, it does. Haha. Feels like someone holding your entire body down.

One night, I had it happen like 5 times. OMG. I hate it >;l

Oh, and so far. It ONLY happens when I take naps. Not when I sleep at night.

Yes it is called sleep paralysis. It occurs because you woke up during REM sleep, a stage of sleep in which your muscles are in a state of paralysis. If you wake up before you are out of REM sleep you will be aware of what is going on but your body is still in that state of paralysis and hence the inability to move. Oh and coming out of REM sleep can also be accompanied by pretty harsh hallucinations of loud noises and strange figures so hopefully you do not wake up from REM with one of those.

Damn, im not taking naps anymore then. I take like.. 2 hour naps sometimes, so maybe my body cant handle such a small amount of sleep. and nah havent had hallucinations...yet. However, before I woke up from this nap, I was in Danny's room, but it was dark and I was like.. being spun around and getting dizzy xD Sucked.
