Partner and I are having a “hungover, lying on the couch, ubereats” kind of day today It’s been so long since I’ve been hungover! I keep wailing “we’ve poisoned ourselves!!”

It was worth it though and luckily we’re starting to feel a little better as the day goes on

Today has been good up until a half hour ago. I'm here at the vet for my dog's annual checkup. The last time I was here was one year ago and my other dog was dead two days later. Absolutely not my vet's fault, I adore them and they're so good to animals, but just being here is stirring up some painful flashbacks for sure. Though today will rebound into being a great day if Cade gets good results back from her annual blood work.

update - I was told Cade is in immaculate shape for a 15 year old dog :')

It began as calm day, into a hurry day, into calm again, into total emergency at work because a fatal failure and now that it's almost solved it calms down again.

But all that said, I've got a beer in hand and spaghetti in the pot and that makes today a good day. It's not too hot out which is awesome.

This week was better. Today I even went to see an opera. I just got home from dinner with some friends and congratulations! Being drunk and almost falling asleep I just thought I'd send you a message. I miss all of you more than my ex. LOL

I was absolutely destroyed by a migraine yesterday, worst I've had in months. But I'm doing much better now. Little hung-over from it (yes that really is a thing, feeling hungover without the fun part of drinking before hand ) Read to take on some art prompts and play some games. :3

Yesterday was exhausting. Now I just get to rest and clean up after the chaos of a family visit

My day has just started. It's around 9:30am here. I'm at work and have about 10 hours left. Clicking around on CK, Neo, Amazon, and Tiktok on My downtime.

I have surgery tomorrow (minor but important) and am a nervous wreck! Logically I know it'll be alright and I don't need to worry but...that doesn't stop it from happening anyway
