boring i guess, which is what im used to but since it's actually my birthday it stings a bit more
my family hasn't really done anything (they've been mostly nice at least) and i dont have irl friends to hang with anymore since i've moved so much. auhg
i have some nice online pals who have made it a bit more cheerful at least but looks like ill be spending my 21st in my room drinking wine and playing Oblivion alone?
idk. maybe i should take this as a bad omen for the future?? hm. or i guess im still feeling those high expectations for birthdays from when i was younger, lmao

overall: boring, but quiet at least i guess

Is that what they call it? Threenager? haha! I keep telling my husband it's going to only be a matter of time before he'll be fighting off the boys.

Oh gosh, yes. My kids are the cutest when sleeping. They look like dolls (I'm just a little biased).

My son has soooooo much energy. He's built like a little football player and we really want to put him in sports when he's older.

M loves sports too - he's tall and skinny and we can't wait to get him into footy next year when he's old enough He's never been one to sit around. Yet to see where G's interests lie!

Today was alright and then turned to shit. I really don't feel like talking about it but I needed to just write this SOMEWHERE. I haven't felt so let down and sad and mad and frustrated all at once in about 4 or 5 years now. And I'm actually pissed at myself for having tears coming down my face just writing this. Of course. And I'm supposed to give a happy ass speech I'm under 2 days. The fact I'll have to fake it just makes that worse.

I'm sorry you're feeling this way. Don't be mad at yourself, it's okay to cry, it's okay to be mad/sad/frustrated. You're only human and we have emotions. I hope whatever you are going through will pass quickly. Maybe you can write down all of your feelings on paper or in a word document where no one can see. It helps some people and has helped me in the past.

Getting older does suck! Actually, it isn't the getting older part - it's more the older you get, the more responsibilities you acquire....

yeah exactly, especially about the responsibilities part.
like every year you get older stuff just ticks off that you can't do that you want to because, hey, bills and caring for stuff and also trying to take care of yourself on top of it, health and mental health, working, etc...
i overall just feel better now that my birthday is over mainly, today feels like there's less pressure for some reason.
