yesterday i woke up and went to get euros since i'll be in spain soon.. then i realized was in the middle of DC, so i went to the monument, the WWII memorial fountain thing, the Lincoln memorial, and the natural history museum. i got really sunburnt :/ but it was fun!
also at the WWII memorial fountain, everyone sits on the edge and puts their feet in. this random guy came up to me and said "hey could you please not put your feet in it's disrespectful to the veterans." and that makes sense yeah but in the moment, i was like SCREW YOU (he was a random stranger, like not some government official or some shit), and i was just annoyed that a stranger was coming up to me and telling me what to do.
also my grandpa was a POW and everyone in my family, including myself, is jewish so i was just like... do you want me to call him and see if it's ok for me to put my feet in? :/
who knows though i was probably just bitter that a stranger ruined my buzz
My puppy was stuck in demon mode for awhile today, knocking over trash cans and pulling the insoles out of my dad's slippers (I had to sneak up on her from the kitchen to get that one away from her, it's hard to corner a dog when you're on your own). But otherwise it was alright
Naw such a caring sticky thread My day just started about an hour ago and so far it's been great besides the fact that the squawking crows woke me up and i found a mosquito bite on my foot that's itching like hell. Lol not so much a great start to the day but it is Friday so the weekend is just around the corner! Can't wait.
