Today's been a lazy day for me. It was suppose to be productive (clean and run some errands) but I decided to just sit in front of my computer all day playing games. On the bright side, I did run SOME errands but need to finish the rest tomorrow.
I just got my wisdom teeth out today

So, one of my coworkers put in their two weeks notice two days ago, and both the HR Director and the Sales Director (both of my bosses) recommended that I apply to essentially be an easy replacement for the position without having to go through the whole long hiring process and have our Sales Department have a full month of downtime...
and then the woman who is the boss of all of us decided to step on that and already has a million people scheduled for interviews and had a super promising candidate today.
So there goes what was promised to be a guaranteed promotion! Bit of a bummer, but makes me feel more comfortable looking around for other jobs with a (hopefully) higher paycheck and/or more impactful work.

I finally got my weld that I've been waiting for about two weeks. I bought a welding machine so I could finally finish working on my father's car.

I had a pretty good day today, nothing really bad happening. Though I am making good progress on developing a game for a few friends of mine.
Good day today so far!
They've essentially all but locked in the new candidate for the Sales Associate position here, which sounds bad...
BUT my uncle works at an engineering firm, and he had encouraged me to apply there months ago. They finally got back to me this week, and they want to bring me in for an interview for a process engineer position! It's set for Tuesday from 11:00 to 1:00 (long day!), so I'll have to take off work, but I'm SO excited.
By this time next week, I may have to be preparing to put my two weeks notice in here. Fingers crossed~
not a good day for me here. We are currently in quarantine due to coronavirus and i'm spending a lot of time in home. Quarantine is going to last for weeks too...
