I envy you fixing your sleep schedule @(you need an account to see links). I’ve managed to fuck mine up yet again. Idk what it is I just cannot fall asleep and when I finally manage to sleep, I can’t get more than 5 hours. My days have been a struggle and I’m very thankful for caffeine!

I attribute my success to starting to take melatonin gummies on days I'm unable to fall asleep on my own. Knocks me right out and keeps me asleep long enough to cycle through back to "normal."

My day turned frustrating fast. I got reprimanded at work for following instructions too closely 🙃 and the especially aggravating part is both the way I apparently should have made the budget ends in the exact same place my way does

I don't expect anyone to read my grumbling about finance but ughhhhhhhhhhhhhh I want to be self-indulgent and just bitch about this lol

it was literally just a difference of doing

(8.3 x 4) x 1.1 = 36.5

or (7.8 x 4) + 5.3 = 36.5

we were told explicitly "the baseline budget should not include consideration for +10% order volume growth"

the 8.3 already includes consideration for +10% volume growth the 8.3 is literally 7.8 million + 500k of hedge for +10% growth 🙃🙃🙃🙃🙃 and they were never not going to end up at 36.5 either way

haha! it can be. I work in corporate strategic finance, it's a lot of solving math puzzles. The job is so fast paced and high pressure that I feel frantic more than bored lol.

I've only just gotten up for the day a small while ago, but it's been going fantastic so far. I had a lovely breakfast and now I'm sipping coffee while getting started on my work. Later I've got a new desk being delivered, so I'm sure once that's here things will descend into a bit of a struggle bus since it's so heavy and I'm a weakling, so getting it inside is going to be a challenge, but... until that happens I'm vibing!
