    The State You Reside In

    I'll start.

    MINNESOTA:
It's landlocked between great lakes and canada and the middle of no where.
We got the Mall of America (Nothing Special btw)
    We got Valleyfair (Kinda fun)
We got the Waterpark of America (no relation to the Mall of America)
We have crazy politicians (Tim Pawlenty & Michelle Bachmann)
Schools are shitty (Referendums don't pass)
    Education is shit.
Funds for the disabled is non-existant (Damn Pawlenty)
    It's fuarking cold here.
There isn't anywhere fun to travel to.
    Our neighboring states suck.
    We got a northern accent.

State your state and things about it.

The state in which I reside is Missouri. Here, we enjoy seasonal ice-storms, chill-to-the-bone winds, snow in the form of slush, and black ice during the Winter months. In the Spring, we watch our possessions float away via semi-annual floods. Finally, during the Summer, we watch as 110 degree, two-month-long droughts ravage our gardens and crops. Somewhere along the line, we also get record-breaking tornadoes, but I don't recall them ever sticking to a particular season. I like Missouri, don't get me wrong; its weather is just terrible, is all.
Otherwise, there're hills and valleys everywhere, a lot of ground remains fairly untouched, our lakes are unfortunately dirty, and half the people (including myself) don't yet have broadband internet; that's Missouri in a nutshell.
Although, it's not like I'm that far out in the sticks; I'm fifteen minutes from the nearest Wal-Mart Super-Center. =D

Y'all have an awesome day, people!
    ...
Seriously, make a deliberate effort to make your day awesome; otherwise, the bear-Jew will find you!

I live in the State of confusion

Being in the UK, we don't have states. Our closest thing is probably counties but they don't have as autonomous a government as your States do. I live in Greater Manchester. The biggest City is Manchester. We hosted the Commonwealth Games in 2002. We're famed for the greyness of our sky and just generally being grim(and fiercely proud of this fact). George Orwell's book "The road to wigan pier" is about a wharf in our county. Musically, we have The Smiths, Joy Divison, Oasis, Happy Mondays, The Doves and The Stone Roses. We've a fierce rivalry with Liverpool/Merseyside.

    I'm in Maryland!

We border the capital of the country...they think they are a state but they are really just in maryland and virginia!

The terrain here covers almost everything. We have a huge mountain range in the west, farmlands in the middle, beaches in the east.

Weather here is very sporadic. About 5 days ago it was 6, yesterday it was below 20..

Biggest city in Baltimore...nothing special there.

We also have the chesapeake bay, which is awesome.
