Cool Have to start studying for my permit test

I actually don't really want to - I'm nervous about driving. Turning 16 in March and prob taking the test that day after school...if it's on a weekday. If it's the weekend I'll prob go when I wake up lol.
My mom told me to start studying

And THEN I have to look for a job, since it's custom in my house you start working/looking for jobs at 16.

Well this sucks. I like being a kid and having nothing to worry about.
But lately I've been finding myself deeply wanting my own $$$ and not having to depend upon my lazy parents and older brother for rides, y'know? :3

There's nothing more that I could have asked for except for it to last forever,

USA right? Forget about the permit.

The permit is nothing to worry about. it's half common sense, 1/4 bike rules 1/4 alcohol/drug info.

It's passing the driving test that's hard.

In NYC, it's hell with so many cars. I took mine at Red Hook, Third time's the charm...

Here's something to calm your nerves.

The permit test is a piece of cake. You can walk in and not study. Best thing to do is start driving when you get it. If you haven't driven much before, start slow, but start.

Also, depending on the state, I think you may have to hold the permit for 6 months. So if you take the permit test now, you might not be able to get the license in March.

@tier - I'm going for the permit test in March. And yep PA has a law where you need it for 6 months So if I pass my drivers test I'll have my license in August

Like another has said, the permit test is easy but the driving part is hard but usually depends on traffic and your nerves. I drive full time now, for years, don't be in such a rush to drive and work, it's really no fun being out in the real world. Good luck on your test though.

    OOOOAAARRGGHH!!
