[Guide] How to cache your pets

Cloudapp has blocked pinging, this is ok all that the ping did was redirect the googler crawler to neopets faster. Pages will still cache fine within 3-7 days.
Since googles cache isn't working correctly for most people, and I am the only one who knows how to cache pets I decided to write a short guide on how I am doing it.

What you will need:
Access to your routers pages, or the page in which you can change your DNS.
Googles DNS
Googles Force Cache Link
CMD Prompt

How it is done:

Go to your routers main page, which is usually found at 192.168.0.1

Look for DNS, usually it's labelled as optional.

Type in the following DNS in the first one 8.8.8.8 and in the second one type 8.8.4.4

Save the changes. Navigate to the page where you can flush and reset your IP. If you cannot find it simply open up CMD and type the following ipconfig /release , ipconfig /flushdns , ipconfig /renew , ipconfig /registerdns

You will now have googles DNS and yes your IP will change.

Now that the main parts over with here's the easy part, I will not explain exactly how this works but if you follow the steps it works for anyone.

Navigate to the pets page in which you wish to cache. You will have to update the pets page so that it has a link on it, the link can lead to anywhere on neopets.com example click here now you must submit the link of the pets page to googles cache.

There you have it, once you have completed all of this your neopets page should cache within 3 days, it can take up to a week but usually it will cache within a day or a couple hours.

I was going to start a service for it but I just don't have the time to be responding to everyone so I figured I would just share it so everyone has access to it. Enjoy.

I wouldn't say "I am the only one who knows how to cache pets" because there are others who have their own methods.

He meant via the normal methods. Don't nit pick
If you have your own method, post it up. Or don't.

Does this result in a permanent IP change?

(you need an account to see links) is how to change your DNS for yourself only without having to access your router's page.
