Yeah I wanted to buy a lot of goods at the concert like their lightstick but it was 20-30$ more expensive than if I bought it online myself so I was like why would I do that π΅ I ended up buying a hoodie though! I think you can "buy" songs/albums to support them through Apple music/iTunes (my friend does that haha) or just streaming songs on Spotify for popularity/passive revenue... I don't think you can "buy" songs/albums on Spotify? But streaming is definitely an important metric and I think it does earn them money too maybe. Sorry I'm not too knowledgeable! Also I'm pretty sure I made a kpop thread at one point but it got buried and old π
