[iPhone] Power/Lock button no longer working

Well this sucks. My power button won't make the "click" sound it used to that would put my phone to sleep or turn it off. Any suggestions on what I can do? If all else fails I will just send it back to Apple. How annoying...

As long as its not water logged or anything, you should be good. It sounds like a mechanical issue. My phone just wouldnt turn on like three days I got it, and Apple sent me a replacement in less then two weeks.

This just happened to mine Joe. If you're jailbroken, go to Cydia and get "Activator" you can set a swipe/ home button combo to lock/unlock your phone :)

Btw when mine breaks, I go to the Apple Store and they give me a new one then and there lol.
I would take like to get fixed, but I'd lose my jailbreak.

Meh, I'm gonna back it up and take it to my carrier to see if they can replace it or something. Would love to have a newer iPhone (new battery xD) haha
