I just use proxies/hotspot to get around my ban.

It didn't work as in .. it didn't change your ip? Or you still weren't able to login with the new ip?
There are thousands of ways to change your ip address, that should solve it.

And I thought neopets barely IP banned anymore?

They banned my dorm IP since I cracked about 500 shells over 2 days :D



Again, try using Hotspot Shield or Tor.

And, personally, I'd prefer changing my ip instead of constantly having to set up hotspot shield. Just google for "how to change your ip" and you'll get a shitload of results. Just try another method than you did before.

Depends, it's usually not very much slower than your average connection, but sometimes it can be painfully slow. Just reconnect to get another one and it should be faster :P

It seems to work without a proxy now
