ok ima write DETAILED INSTRUCTIONS for thoes that are getting confused.

1. install as usual
2. when it asks you for a serial number during install do not enter one just click on 'install as trial'
3. once the trial version has installed go to this location C:/windows/system32/drivers/etc in there you will find your hosts file
4. download this pre-modified hosts file [Only registered and activated users can see links] ns%29
5.once downloaded use winrar or winzip to extract the modified hosts file too you desktop
6. copy and past into C:/windows/system32/drivers/etc
7.replace the old hosts file with this one and YOUR DONE! just enter a serial for adobe and it wont call home to check the serial which means its activated forever.

AND DID YOU FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS THAT CAME WITH THE FILE YOU DOWNLOADED... because you shouldn't/wouldn't have gotten that popup if u followed the instructions

chaseme I followed all instructions perfect but yet I still get the error "We are unable to start your subscription blah blah blah"

I also give up because my shitty computer doesn't have enough room to handle PS apparently xP
