a timeless topic that has a place in every forum :)
apologies if it already features here.. i couldn't find it.

anyhow..

there are so many things i'm crazy about that i don't really know where to start.

i brush my teeth three times a day, but wash my hair once a week.

basically unless everything i do is perfect, i have to start again and if i'm not allowed to start again it physically makes me ill.

i also colour code things.. washing and pegs.. my store diary, peoples names, highlighters..

i collect entire sets of things, and if i can't have the whole set it plays on my mind until i a. get rid of said items, or b. complete the set.

you guys?

edit: i think it's apparent that capital letters make me feel sick :P

I am very particular with the way I brush my teeth, it takes me around 8 minutes in the mornings to do it my way, I feel unclean if I don't and will not be able to stop running my tongue over my teeth all day.
I can only empty the dishwasher if I have the same thing in each hand, eg: I will always take two bowls or two glasses out at the same time.

I am looking forward to reading everyone's pedantic quirks! I'll probably think of more to post later. :)

I'm OCD about people telling me how to do things.

I do not have anything actually close to real OCD behavior but I am quite particular about keeping the kitchen clean. I get annoyed if there are used dirty utensils on the counter, if the sink is full of cold water and dishes just in there, if there is pans all over the place and crumbs left on the counter. It is nothing compulsive but I get annoyed enough to have to clean it all because I like to see a clean kitchen.

The only thing I'm OCD about is skinning up... It must be perfect.

I have to grab the cat food cans in a specific order to feed them. Same with the dog food.

I guess I have to have a clean kitchen. If it's not clean, I pretty much freak out and clean it. >.<
I'll think of the other ones later.

I have like.. symmetry issues? idk but like if I step on a crack in the sidewalk with my left foot I have to step on one with my right foot or I'll feel off-balance, this applies to a lot of things like if I'm holding something in one hand I have to be holding something in the other as well or it won't be equal.
I'm also constantly flexing my hands for some reason.

If there's anything I'm OCD about, it's sleep. If I don't get exactly 8 hours of sleep (no more, no less) I freak out. If I know exactly what time I plan to wake up the next morning, I calculate what time I need to go to bed to achieve that. If I stay up past that time I get horrible anxiety 0.0

Also, shoes. I hate having shoes laying around the house, or even if they are just laying on their side. I have to line them up by the door neatly.

I also hate writing with pens. It's too smooth and I feel like they glide across the paper too easily so I don't have as much control.

Parking. If I am not perfectly straight and in those lines I can't stop thinking about it :P

My handwriting. When I write for a while, my handwriting changes and gets really ugly at the end. I'll rewrite it later on

I'm diagnosed OCD towards food.
It's pretty annoying but I can't help it.

First off, my food can't touch. At all. Or I can't eat it.
If I find something in my food that doesn't belong I can't eat it anymore. If I try to eat it I end up getting sick all over the place.
My bites have to be the same size which is difficult when eating certain things.

Example: there is this blueberry cereal that is AMAZING! It tastes just like a blueberry muffin. I used to eat this all the time and fell in love with it. While I was eating it dry though I found some sort of green leaf in it. Now whenever I even try to put some in my mouth I start gagging.

Speaking of being addicted to food.. I'm always addicted to one food. It changes after awhile. Like right now it's cheetos. All I crave is cheetos. Pretty much what I'm eating constantly. Before that it was olives, and before that it was beef jerky..
I'm pretty weird I guess. But that's just me.

Washing my hands. I have to do it like, all the time.
If there's no hand wash, I get grumpy and try to make do with the next best thing -- bubble bath, shampoo, whatever. Water just isn't enough xD

When I was little, I had to do everything in twos. If I did something a third time, I'd have to do it a fourth etc. It was a bitch for stuff like burns etc x_x thankfully I outgrew it a while ago D:

I used to be OCD about being perfect at everything I do. Whenever I actually made a mistake, I would emotionally get angry about it and keep trying to fix the mistake until its perfect. Now, I am not OCD about it anymore.

I'm really ocd about uneveness and numbers. For example, uneven numbers freak me out and make me feel uncomfortable. If I have a quantity of something I really rather it be an even number or I'll take one away so it's even :/

I feel OCD about the letters OCD not standing in alphabetical order. I do think that says something.
And I have a lot of small things. If I chew a certain amount on one side, I have to do the same on the other. If I touch something with one hand, I have to do it with the other as well. I believe its all about equality, man.

I'm OC w/ the way I tie my shoelace. The left shoes should be left side on top of right, and right shoes should be right side on top of left.
