It has come to my attention that I am not the only one that had a little bit of trouble with this so I thought I would just post a short guide.

To make the background transparent
[Only registered and activated users can see links]
Then to do the rainbow one
The most helpful page is this

On it is the fex codes for any color - so you can basically do anything

So basically you put your colours at different intervals. Like this
#ff4000 - 65%
#ffff00 - 75%
#00ff80 - 85%
#8000ff - 100%
