fix script that stopped working?

Hello! I've been using a script that made awesome changes to the auction house that made selling on the AH SOO much easier but a month or 2 one feature stopped working and I really miss it so figured i'd ask here if anyone can fix it or make a new script to add it.

The feature added a button to on the selling page that would open a new tab with an AH search for the item so you can quickly see what the LAH price is. Script also auto sets currency to gems and sets list time to 7 days. Those 2 features work just fine, but the search AH for item button has dissapeared. I would really love if someone could figure out why the code isn't working!

I just installed this and it's working for me, so not sure what it might be off the top of my head. What browser/script manager are you using? Are you getting any sort of error message in the developer's console?

huh...interesting that it works for you. I'm using google chrome which I've always used and no I'm not getting any errors. I use tampermonkey to install the script through. I went and tested in firefox (using greasemonkey), opera and microsoft edge and it isn't working on any of the browsers :/

Does not seem to be working on chrome for me either. I usually have to use firefox for stuff like this just because chrome is crap.

It was working just fine for me on chrome until earlier this year it just suddenly stopped working (just the button part). I still can't get it to work in firefox either though.

Weird, I'm also using chrome (and tried firefox), and even tried updating and it was still good for all those. I can try to play around with it a bit later to see if I can break it and then how to fix it?

yeah if you could tinker and help me figure out why it's not working I would really appreciate it! I've re-installed the script, re-installed tampermonkey (and greasemonkey on FF), uninstalled all other scripts to run this one completely on its own, all my browsers are up-to-date.

Okay after poking around I was able to break it, so I'll poke around some more and see if I can find a fix!

I think this should do the trick, ended up just modifying the way it looks for the item name. I'm not totally sure why it was working for me earlier unless it was just a tweak that was only gradually being rolled out to all FR users. Let me know if this gives you any trouble!

Just wanted to thank y’all for the working script, this makes my interactions with the AH and forum 10x easier so now I can actually sell things and it not feel like such a chore!
