The strat is simple.

Get 2-3x Screech's off. Then bide time with one or two rounds till it nullifies your stats.
Get 3x Iron Defence off. You might have to keep using Roost every other turn.
Once that's done just keep firing off Body Presses till you knock it out. Tera whenever you can.
It's a bit long but gets the job done without much problem.

I just solo'd it using the Paldean Blaze Tauros strat. Sharing build and strategy below. I didn't create this strategy, but I did use it to solo Samurott very easily on the first go.

Paldean Tauros (Blaze | Scarlet Exclusive)
Ability: Anger Point (not a hidden ability)
Nature: Adamant (use a mint if it's intimidate)

Item: Shell Bell
Tera: Fire (Ideally, but Mine has Fighting)

EVs: 4HP | 252 Atk | 252 Def
Lvl: 100
IVs: Don't matter, but if you must, then attack and defence

Moveset:
Tail Whip
Sunny Day (you'll need a TM)
Raging Bull
4th move can be anything, you wont use it.

Strategy:
If you get a partner with intimidate it's a bonus, but if not it doesn't matter. You're going to get KO'd once anyway. Samurott will start off with Focus Energy and after this if will crit you with nearly every attack (if not all) - which is good. This will give you max attack (+6) because of the Anger point ability.

When the battle starts, keep using as many Tail Whips as you can till your Tauros faints. You'll be able to get 2 or 3 off if you're lucky. The moment you get revived, shoot a Sunny Day to set up the sun. His shield will already be up. From this point on just keep spamming Raging Bull till you KO him. It should take 2-3 hits to break hit shield and 2-3 to KO him after that. Tera when you can for an extra boost. The Shell Bell should keep healing you. Should be too tough with this strat.

If all goes to plan you should solo him on your first go. Just follow these steps.

im curious what possible counters itll have? ill have to look into it. but yes seems like annilahape would be a good choice.

It might be similar to Charizard raid, as he doesn't have self-buff moveset i think. So far i have seen them mentioning Umbreon , Annihilape (more for solo). chi-yu , Ceruledge ( shadow teraa , shadow moveset , flashfire ability) as Typhlosion should have flashfire too .

There's a very small amount of dark types out there that aren't weak to fire. Maybe one of the four legendaries could be used as well.

hi all just used walking wake. lvl 100 and ev train SP atk speed

moves i used: noble roar twice. try to hit that asap.

after noble roar i used snarl a couple times to bring down sp attack.

could also use annihalape as a helper, if he does sunny day your walking wake is powerized. can use hydro steam. or other dark type attack special to chip away at is crystal light just caught within 8 min~!

seriously tho noble roar, walking wake is a DEFENSE monster and can WITHSTAND all his attacks. ive seen grimmsnarl, mismagius, even some poor trained anihlapes taken out in one shot.

The Annihilape strat has too much dependence on RNG with sunnyday/eruption damage variance and even if you're on the good side of it, it leaves you too close in terms of time.

Theres a better Flutter Mane strategy. If you train it well, you can go for two Fake Tears, (faint), two Calm Minds, and then spam Shadow Ball till he faints. You should only faint once if you do it right.

i think monke should be fine. rock and grass typing vs fighting/ghost no match. just use the supporting moves to lower defense and we good!!

Used Monke with screech x2, taunt, and drain fist to get some HP back, cracked the defensive gym with rage fist after.

Could be a really interesting raid depending on what moveset they decide to give it. I was kind of hoping the Magician ability would work and it would just steal your held item but the items would just disappear altogether instead of the raid mon using it.

I'd love to see a raid that nullifies Shell Bell so you actually have to bring healing/support instead of just doing stat boosting and nuking to restore health through Shell Bell.

Yeah that moveset sounds about right. Good chance it'll have Sunny Day, which with Mystical Fire will counter most steel types. It could even have Magic Room, which will "steal" held items, so Shell Bells may not work. This has the potential to be a very difficult raid.

I'm kind of hoping the Houndoom strat works, I want a reason to shiny hunt a Houndoom lol. All my raid pokemon thus far have been shinies that I hunted and trained for the 7 star raids!

Ability - Flash Fire, to absorb the fire attacks
Tera Type - Preferably Psychic
EVs - 252 Sp.Atk., 252 Sp.Def.

Moves - Calm Mind, Acid Spray, Psychic Terrain, Expanding Force

It starts off with a Dazzling Gleam. Use 2x Calm Minds NOT 3x. Go for 3x Acid Spray.
Follow that up with Psychic Terrain, and use Expanding Force. If the RNG is on your side you'll knock it's shield; if not use another Expanding Force.
Once it's shield is out it will nullify all stats on itself. Luckily it won't nullify your stats until very late in the battle.
Now use 3x Acid Sprays again, and fire Expanding Force till you knock it out. If you need to, you can use another Calm Mind if necessary.

Nice! I'm going to try with Houndoom once I manage to snag a shiny one. Used 3 sandwiches so far, still haven't Seen one. Could have missed it, Houndour isn't the easiest Shiny to spot.

Tried with a Klefki and it went HORRIBLY wrong so I'm just going to go with eviolite Chansey. So many ppl going to raids not bothering with a healer mon so I usually do that service. Klefki just ain't it on this one

Group raid is always fun Bulbasaur , Dracarys 。 I still remember when we tried to host one back then i can't even remember which raid it was (too long ago) and everyone was oh yeah lets do it and end up all of us just went solo LOL . The timing coordination is probably still the biggest hurdle for group raids

Group raid is always fun Bulbasaur , Dracarys 。 I still remember when we tried to host one back then i can't even remember which raid it was (too long ago) and everyone was oh yeah lets do it and end up all of us just went solo LOL . The timing coordination is probably still the biggest hurdle for group raids

Next weekend does sound better as I don't have an offensive or support mon ready for this raid lol. I've got friends in SG and we either plan things morning or night when we are both awake it's just opposite for us lol. We could use the universal UTC time and list when we are all free? Realistically I can do any time on the weekend so any time then is good for me :)

Yup that should work! It just get's a bit annoying because a lot of people try those codes and you keep matching other trainers instead of the bots lol.

I do have a full trained Mew if anyone wanted to join raids with me when the time comes.

Bulbasaur to be honest i think there might be a better chance of finding blane's discord member's raid giveaway instead of queuing for that dumb bot raid (1 is the typing speed touch screen would be more advantage here and connection speed +rng) . I remembered i queue for 4hrs for the shiny umbreon back that and lost the raid. Then i found someone who gave one of the ones he caught from the raid since he went in 5 times. They mention even blane's vip bots doesn't make it any better compared to his free bots.

The thing with this raid is going to be if you don't have a Mew yourself, there's going to be no real reason to do it. Unless the items it drops are unbelievably good, which I doubt. I wonder why they'd do that tbh, could have just made it catchable and had more people participate.

That's what I think too. Although that's such a long shot for them to try lmao. The only draw of that is that it's the only legit Shiny Mew you can find since 2002 (and the last Go event in 2021).

The strat is simple.

Get 2-3x Screech's off. Then bide time with one or two rounds till it nullifies your stats.
Get 3x Iron Defence off. You might have to keep using Roost every other turn.
Once that's done just keep firing off Body Presses till you knock it out. Tera whenever you can.
It's a bit long but gets the job done without much problem.

The strat is a piece of cake.

The metronome makes Drain Punch stronger everytime you use it back to back. And that's all you have to use. Your HP/Defence will be high enough that you won't get knocked out.
Just go in and spam Drain Punch till the en of the fight, Terastallise after the two turns (or asap). There's nothing more to it. Just mindlessly spam Drain Punch and nothing else.

Important Note: Use 3x PP Ups on Drain Punch to get it's max PP to 16. If you don't you'll run out of Drain Punches.

i defs recommend looking up multiple build guides because the three diff supports i was with each had different functions (light clay walls + life dew healing, mud slap accuracy drop, and then transform so it could copy unnerve from mewtwo so he couldnt eat his chesto berry)

again worked well just took FOREVER

EDIT: also the reason everyone is recommending taking mew, is that it gets a HUGE stat boost when fighting this mewtwo. it is the only pokemon that does, and the boost is nothing to sneeze at, it's comparable to a dynamax boost, max hp 31 iv full ev investment will go from 404 to 606.

A group of 3 of us tried last night and it was difficult. We definitely needed a 4th Mew. If you joined us it would probably go a lot better! My mew was a support light clay with light screen, life dew, acid spray, and misty terrain for the sleep issue. Although I'm thinking about replacing one of my moves for mud slap.
