Which Pokemon do you have on your team?

Hello all! With S/V here, I wanted to just see what kind of Pokemon you guys have on your team.
Which starter did you go with? Are they still with you? Do you aim for competitive Pokemon? Cute ones? Just new ones? I'd love to hear all about it!

I do nickname my Pokemon as well lol What about you guys?
I just find it fun! I also named one of them after my dog who sadly passed away.

As for the items... I know they're not comp combos, but this is just my Story team mainly. But I do enough them and would like to build a comp team with them when I can!

When I was first starting I was aiming for JUST new Pokemon, but as you see, I had to get me an older one as well lol

For me, I want to go and breed some more comp Pokemon and build a team for that. Not saying Im any good lol I just love to breed comp Pokemon and use them for fun here and there

I've gone with Meowscarada, Daschbun, Clodsire, Houndoom, Oinkologne and Vaporeon. The only one I nicknamed is my Meowscarada and its Weedcat haha

I try to go with pokemon that are relatively well rounded and I do a half-assed attempt at using natures and stats when I can but i mostly just go with the ones i think are cool or cute lol. Was a big fan of the piggy since they released the first pics of it. And I'm finding after 9 generations I'm quite partial to Normal type.

The brackets are the Tera types I chose for my pokemon. :) Personally, I don't see a point in Tera typing dual pokemon unless it's to avoid a x4 super effective move or something. For some pokemon, that dual type can offer a resistance from another. :S So yeah, lol, gonna leave my dual pokemon as they are currently.

Oh my word, yes! I LOVE Oinkologne! The amazing mothmen gifted me a shiny female one and I am super grateful to them!
I actually went and Hyper Trained them, gave em a Mint and am on the road to EV train her! Im so excited to use her :o_o:

As for Soda Crusher, I legit was like "This beautiful Chonk needs a rockin' name!". So here we are lol

But for comp, I 100% get what you're saying! I try and look up videos, smogon and even some top ranked players to see what I want to aim for! BUT I know they do this because...they're good at the game lol
Im not B) So I check them out, and try to follow some good builds, but in the end, if I suck, then a lot of what I breed ends up being trash anyways ):

Are you asking which game we're discussing? If so, we're talking about Pokemon Violet / Scarlet; the newest game in the series. :)

Charizard has been given a lot of attention due to being popular in the anime/games. So they have a few variants like mega evolutions (though this isn't in this game) if you want to put them on your team. ;)

Also, to help you out Bulbasaur with team building and the likes, I can post my full team build! :)

Oh, those seem like some fun builds!
Yeah, I tend to look around the forms for builds and even try and look for some with Pokemon that some dont really use lol Im a sucker for cute Pokemon, but a lot of them are pretty weak ):
But as long as I get to have fun and enjoy the battles, thats all that really matters!

I also am using a Sylveon for AFK money farming, a Dachsbun for the Charizard raids that I'll now re-train for general raid support, and of course have a Charizard for raids. Currently working on getting a bunch of raid-ready pokemon so I can do more varied raids!!

Hehe I had a Donphan named Frostie and he got replaced with Peepaw lmao... I do that for any pokemon on my team that gets replaced. They always get a title, ie 'Son of Arc' etc. :P Makes me not feel as bad about replacing them.
