For the first time since the Pokemon 25th anniversary we can get Victini again!

This is a pretty big deal for dex completion!

For The Pokemon World Championship 2022 there is a special Victini distribution available via mystery gift in Pokemon Sword and Shield. This runs only until Sunday, August 21sth 2022 at 23:59 UTC / 7:59PM EST.

You're welcome! I'd missed the 25th event and was SUPER bummed about it because I think the only time before that you could get Victini was at the release of Black and White. So I will do what I can to relieve others of the pain of not completing the dex.

This is a great reminder! Just picked him up. This is SUCH a short window for this event, too. I would have been sad to miss it. One of my favorite of the "event" pokemon; love the color scheme and character design :)

:( I’m sorry. It was such a small window, they could have given a week. Meanwhile, I once redeemed some codes from actual scratch off cards that had “expired” two years prior and they let me.
