Did the new artwork make me want to watch the anime? Absolutely

I just don't think I will because I didn't watch anything of Pokemon Journeys, so I'm like... Over 100 episodes late lol

idk why, but the first few episodes didn't catch my attention all that much, and that kinda made me not want to watch it at all, but I'm getting a little interested by the storylines I have been seeing online. If Ash does get to battle all of these champions it's definitely something that I will want to watch.

If anyone has been watching the anime: is it good, currently?

Ohh I think I see familiar faces there. I'm not sure about the animation (I wasn't very fond of Alola either), but it's Pokémon and normally I peek from time to time coz I guess I grew with the anime years ago.

I haven't played any games (only watched my classmates doing so back then) so I only know what I've seen on the anime series.

But I'm also curious on the feedback of ppl that has been following this and has some expertise. Hope they share us more light on this ^^

Oh that looks really nice! I been watching the series religiously since Alola. I really loved the show and Journeys definitely got better the further they got. Can't wait to see some of these battles! Excited to see mega charizard coming back. That whole series with him was really good too!

I haven't watched the show in ages, but I do love that they game Steven and Lance the shiny forms of their pokemon. :3 However knowing how the show goes from what I've seen Ash will probably just befriend the majority of the champions and not fight them.

iirc he already is friends with Iris. I think that they traveled together in the BW anime.

New vs artwork is awesome tho, saw yesterday the one with Ash vs Steven and i loved it, want to watch the tournament!

So far some tournament battles are out and I like this mixing they did about gigamax, megaevo and alola moves. Almost like "everything counts!" haha.

I also enjoyed seeing Satoshi's old Pokémon (rip Primeape and Pidgeot xd).

Those rumors circulate around every single time, but if he wins this go around it would actually be his second time winning (outside of the Orange Islands), since he won Alola's League. :)

I enjoyed Iris vs Cinthya battle in Pokémon Journeys, I'm happy Iris has got some development on her character and loved seeing Axew as an Haxorus now.

Steven vs Satoshi battle was good, only problem I have is that I believe Pikachu was overpowered by plot at the end, though I read some comments about the damage Dracovish made to Mega Metagross. I like Pikachu but still...

Anyway, i'm looking forward to Satoshi vs Cynthia battle, though I have mixed feelings coz it's Cynthia :o_o:
