Me thinks Imma watch through the series this week.
Anyone have any favorite episodes?

I love it. My grandmother watched it years ago, along with Star Trek, Star Wars and other Sc-Fi flicks/shows. I guess that's where I get my love for that stuff from. o.o

Also, Doctor Who.

I'm guessing you're starting it from Matt Smith's incarnation?

And nope, I started with Eccleston, and my favorite is incarnation Tennant (And favorite companion is Donna) I've been trying to find the earlier episodes but have had little luck. |T

Doctor Who is my all time favorite show. Tennant was my favorite Doctor, but Matt Smith comes in at a close second.

As for my favorite episodes: The Impossible Planet and The Satan Pit was an amazing arc in season 2.
Blink in season 3 was an amazingly well written semi-horror episode. The season finally was also incredibly amazing.
Vincent and the Doctor is my favorite episode where the doctor goes back in time.
I also love how the last two seasons are so tied together.

Altogether, anybody that likes sci-fi shows should definitely watch this. Oh, but if you watch the new series first, then decide to watch the original series, you are going to be disappointed.

Doctor Who is one of my favorite shows. My dad started watching it back in the beginning and still loves it now, so we watch it together often. Family bonding ;D

Smallville will, however, always be my all-time favorite TV show.

Blink is one of my favorite episodes as well, I absolutely love the concept of the Weeping Angels and how they play into their other episodes.
Vincent and the Doctor was also good, the ending really got me.


And same with my dad, though he isn't as fond of the more recent incarnations, so we don't watch it together as much... then again I watch the episodes online so it'd be kinda wierd for us to both crowd around my desk to watch it. XD

Yeah, the weeping angels are crazy. But the big question is, would you rather face the weeping angels or the silence? Either way you are in one horrible situation.

I think I'd have to go with the Silence though... ever since I first saw the Weeping Angel episode I've had a uncomfortableness around statues. :I
