In light of the many issues that are currently driving players away from Neopets, we have decided to eliminate several of our longstanding rules regarding the purchase or exchange of Neopets commodities within this community. It is our hope that removing these limitations will revitalize interest in Neopets while offering buyers, sellers and traders a safe place to conduct business.

Effective immediately, you are no longer required to adhere to any pricing guideline when selling items, Neocash items, NP and etc. within our marketplace. While our NP pricing guideline will remain visible as a reference, these values are no longer mandatory.

We have also removed rules pertaining to what sorts of things can be said when soliciting a sale. While we still consider things like "quicksales", or claims that you "need money in a hurry" to be potentially underhanded, we have decided to step aside and let buyers use their own judgement instead of enforcing our own. We strongly advise that you proceed with caution when somebody is imploring you to buy from them. Some people will go to any lengths to make a sale, including by concocting elaborate stories for sympathy.

While pricing and sales language rules are no longer enforced, we still have some restrictions that you should take a moment to familiarize yourself with ([Only registered and activated users can see links]) if you decide to conduct business in this community.

As always, please buy and trade carefully, and use our rank and iTrader feedback systems when deciding if a person is trustworthy. We will continue working to ensure that sales and trades within this community are done to the mutual satisfaction of all involved parties, and that any users who scam or cause problems for other users are held accountable.
