I honestly have no experience with either but have you ever used them in private server communities such as slash diablo?

never on slash diablo--but have worked with someone who has on PD2 for a short stint. Right now it's too much trouble IMO. Most of the guys figuring that stuff out aren't sharing simply because it's worth so much to have that knowledge. High runes are trading for so much on some of the private server communities.
