Yea, after like 200 or something it will ban that ip from checking any for awhile.

I didn't think there was a limit for this?
I think the limit only applies to the neo lost password bit, not the hotmail checking bit.
I could be wrong, but I don't think so. Anybody confirm?

In either case, this is awesome!
I have a huge list of emails that have confirmed neo accounts attached, and I have needed to check for hotmail availability for awhile haha

This does check fine past 200 emails. Just did a short list to test it out. Now to see if I got lucky this time around C:

I just checked over 10,000 emails. I don't believe there is a limit.

Yeah I have got about 150k running through now.
It pulled one from around the 400's and one from the 700's. So I don't think the limit applies.

Anyway to make it check other things too? Like hotmail.ca, hotmail.de, hotmail.co.uk? :O

If it's showing them as available then they are available. In the first release, it only accepted .com and would disregard any other domain as not available

But I just kinda wrote them off and skipped em.

Odd, since the program only adds it to the list if the server outputs "AVAILABLE". I come home in a week and will look into it then.

what i think is happening could be just the server drops the connection temporarily, and then when it picks up the connection again, it simply adds all the ones that had no return value :)

I have a python script that checks for unregistered hotmail/msn accounts (all extensions). i dont think im allowed to upload it here since i found it on another site. the script was outdated so i fixed it a little to make it work. feel free to pm me if u need it and ill send it to you.

Ive been using it since Zach's email checker went down.

Edit:

The program is written in python 2.7.3. You need to install that version for the hotmail checker to work properly.
