Anyone planning on getting one of these? Did anyone have any luck grabbing a 3080 this morning?
Sadly, I did not :frown-new: I have a feeling unless I have a script or something to snag one I wont see one any time soon.
I either will take a 3070 or 3080....honestly whatever I can hopefully get my hands on. RIP.

Building a new rig and going for the 3080, also want to upgrade our second one to a 3080 down the line. But yeah, not going to slit throats for these right now XD We've been holding off on everything just because of these cards, can definitely wait some more :bull_head::onthego:

3090 is a dream come true but my bank account is like:

Yeah I mostly feel like Im doomed. I can probably (hopefully, eventually) get it through someone in my industry but the point still stands that I cant get it myself..meaning everybody else cant get it themselves and feels bad.

I won't even dream of buying one of these but I hope that means older ones will drop in price :(

these new ones are really promising because the prices are supposed to be cheaper and they're better cards.

Definitely, the 3080 Founders edition is better than the 2080TI (Performance and cost)
3080 Founders edition: $699
2080 Founders edition: $799
2080TI : $1199

If you're on the GTX 1000 line, now would be the time to upgrade to the 3080.

It's a high price to pay just to run flash games... :P

But on a more related note: It's one of the best and cheapest graphic cards out there regarding price:power ratio. I'm definitely getting it in future when the race to getting it isn't so tight.

Did anyone actually manage to get a 3080 or 3090 here? I got 2 3080s from our Local Best Buy! Surprised I was able to beat all the bots!

I wasn't able to get one, but I plan on building a new PC next year, so I'll wait until then. My 1080TI is still doing ok for now. Are you using both 3080s?

I am planning to get to build a new desktop for myself somewhere around the end of this year. Hopefully there would be enough stocks for the 3070 which I am eyeing for. Been using an old laptop that's like 7 years old? Its pretty slow now.

Waiting to see the Ryzen Zen 3 announcement happening in a couple of hours from now too! This year end looks like a pretty good year to do a huge upgrading of computers don't you all think?
