All,

With the recent launch of Dappervolk, we have seen an increase in forum activity and interest in both real money and cross-site (Flight Rising, Neopets, etc.) trades for currencies and Kickstarter rewards for this game.

Please remember that conducting trades with brand new users is always something that should be undertaken with extreme caution. Despite the very stringent security measures that are in place to keep known scammers out, new people with new ideas on how to con our users can't be reliably guarded against without your engagement.

We would strongly caution those considering trading for Dappervolk Kickstarter codes or rewards with brand new users, as the risks of such a transaction resulting in a scam are disproportionately high at this time.

Trade safely, keep screen captures of every in-game transaction just in case, and don't send money to people whose trustworthiness is in question.

If you've recently conducted a trade that you feel may have been a scam (the other user has not responded to you or has not delivered their goods in return for yours), please log a dispute ([Only registered and activated users can see links])and we will do what we can.

Thanks.

7/15/2020 Update:

Flight Rising recently made an update to their trading rules which we felt was relevant to point out to our users who may have been interested in endeavoring to trade their Flight Rising goods for Dappervolk codes.

Redemption codes for games other than Flight Rising cannot have their validity independently verified by our Support team. When this happens a Flight Rising player could be scammed for a significant number or value of Flight Rising currency, dragons, or items (ex: Kickstarter items). In order to protect our community, trades for non-Flight Rising redemption codes are not allowed.

TLDR - This is obviously not clraik's rule so you can make arrangements to do whatever you wish within our trading rules ([Only registered and activated users can see links]), but the transaction is now disallowed per the terms and conditions of both of the sites you're trading items among. In the event of either party falling through on their end of a bargain or swap, your avenues for support off of clraik are non-existent.
