I recently finished the first book: The Way of Kings by Branden Sanderson and want to start Words of Radiance.

If you're looking for a new epic/high fantasy series this might interest you.

The first three books are out, the forth coming out this November. It looks like there are 10 total planned, fortunately he appears to release books/content regularly. After I catch up on The Stormlight Archive books I'm going to read some of his other works.

A little about Brandon from wiki:
Brandon Sanderson (born December 19, 1975) is an American fantasy and science fiction writer. He is best known for the Cosmere universe, in which most of his fantasy novels (most notably the Mistborn series and The Stormlight Archive) are set. He is also known for finishing Robert Jordan's high fantasy series The Wheel of Time.

I didn't see this until now.

You are in for a TREAT my friend.

Brandon Sanderson is fantastic.

This is a series in progress, so be forewarned, there is no end in sight - he has many, many, many thousand more words plotted.

But the Stormlight Archive books are brilliant.

All of his work is really good, and he works across multiple sub-genres -- he has some more YA oriented fiction as well, which is very good and enertaining in its own right.

If you like epic fantasy you can't go wrong. Brandon is a writing FIEND and he will not pull a GRRM Song of Ice and Fire and be writing the same book for 86 years. This guy has a plan, he writes constantly, he drops books on the regular.

Let me know your favorite character from Way of Kings! :)
