Why is everything flasing?

Could be a bunch of things but try these, if you have a spare monitor, plug it in and see if it stops, if so then its your monitor
If that dont work then it might be your video card, easy to replace just a little more expensive then a monitor

Edit: When my old video card failed my screen was flashing Red....
When my parents monitor failed it was flashing Green......

probably monitor is burning up or video card is.
try switching it off to let it cool down for awhile before trying again:)

What the people above said, but if you mean it is just the videos and stuff flashing, try updating all your flash, java etc.
