Event bonuses include:

4x Incubator Effectiveness (plus the Hatchathon Event will still be live during this Community Day so double hatch Candy and Stardust will also be active – be sure check the Community Day box as it will most likely have a good deal on Incubators this time)
3 hour long lures
More Totodile spawns
Exclusive Feraligatr move, can be obtained one hour after event end (Yet to be announced, but most likely Hydro Cannon as per usual patterns)

I hope I find at least one this time. During community weekend holiday, I wasn't able to find a single shiny. :(

The rates for Comm Day Weekend were like 1/65. It was terrible since there was so many. I got shundos from ALL of them! It was awesome.

Single day comm day rates are 1/25. So you should have an easier time. Just go to very popular pokestop areas. (US- NY, Pier 39, Chicago Pier), (Asia - Busan Lotte Mall, Tokyo)
