Spoofer's Guide to Tainan Safari Zone in Taiwan (台灣讚啦!)

Nov-1-2018 - Nov-5-2018 (Timer: [Only registered and activated users can see links])
Featured mons: Pinsir (shiny possible!), Relicanth, Bagon, Unown T / A / I / N / Z / O / E (= "TAINAN ZONE")
Special eggs can be obtained from Pokestops in the city. (We don't know what "special" means yet)

The Bureau of Tourism of Tainan made the following announcements:
Inside the event zone, rare mons will spawn from 10:30AM to 4:30PM (local time, GMT+8). Outside the event zone, the time window “will be decided by Niantic”.

Rare mons will spawn in large quantity at 30 locations across the city. 15 of them are near the event zone:

This is super useful, I'm terrified of spoofing though...might buy a shell account just to try for a pinsir lol

Its not bad as long as you follow Cooldown Protocols. Never been caught in my 1 year of spoofing so far!

I just recently started spoofing... maybe 6 months now. Never had a warning. Just follow 2 hour cooldowns.

I was shiny checking.... found a shiny. Backed out to spin a Pokestop to see if i was shadow band. Wasnt. Then the pokemon was gone... would have been my 3rd Shiny Murcrow

Ive caught 9 in the last 4 hours. But havent seen any for about an hour now. Is there a cap?

LOL yeah. I literally did. played for like an hour on my alt and got it and said i'm good. (Got 2)

Uhhh this event, I got a bunch: 1st DAY: 12 Shiny Pinsirs, 1 Luvdisc, 1 Kabuto, 3 Swablus. 2nd Day: 4 Shiny Pinsirs, 1 Swablu.

Dang, you guys are lucky. All I've gotten from about 5 hours of play (about 2 hours of just using pogo plus) are 2 shiny pinsirs and 1 shiny swablu. I still need a bunch for my collection: kabuto, snubbull, luvdisc, and growlithe. Bit difficult for me to play much as it takes place from 10:30pm to 4am for me and I have to sleep for classes.

Sorry, I know very little about spoofing... but are you able to trade through spoofing? I wish I was able to travel to Asia and play Pokemon Go :(

Yep, you can trade. I don't think it affects cooldown either.

Honestly you just have amazing luck. Did 35 raids across several accounts and got 1 shiny on an alt. ;; Gonna trade it to main so nbd but l0l.

Congrats on getting the ones you were missing! I also ended up getting snubbull, growlithe, and kabuto on the last day. Super happy :)
Looks like TSR is doing a November poll on shinies. I filled it out last night. Some interesting results.

I actually bought flights and accommodation to explore Taiwan. I was at the Safari Zone for an entire day since I was staying in Taipei, and within those 6 hours, I ended up catching:

2x Shiny Kabuto
2x Shiny Luvdisc
2x Shiny Growlithe
1x Shiny Eevee
1x Shiny Swablu
1x Shiny Snubbull
9x Shiny Pinsir
1x Shiny Houndour
3x Shiny Gengar

When you are there in person you'd realise the sheer scale of players and then you'd realise that you're an impatient person and that you get easily annoyed. Frustrating when I was at the venue but playing in the city was the best, especially at Tainan Park.
