Need help with jailbreaking my iPod touch

I have an iPod touch I bought over a year ago, and since the warranty has expired I figured there's no harm in jailbreaking now? :X

Can anyone help me with the steps? I'm not a very tech person. I'll provide any info regarding the iPod if you need them. Thanks!

check the ios version. after that google the jailbreak tutorial yourself by typing "ipod iso x.xx jailbreak"
