Not sure exactly how this works, do you get paid before or after completing a project ? I mean issues like dissatisfaction with a project is what I'm thinking of and whether skillsets need to be demomstrated before getting the job

Are you talking about freelancing in general or just on clraik?
On clraik, generally the lower rank (or lesser trusted user) goes first.

There aren't really any official programming jobs. Sometimes members will request something and others will get it done for free or depending on how much time is required or complicated it is, for $.

Depends on the deal you make tbh

Usually is safer to ask for 50% first and 50% when you deliver, specially if you're working for someone for the first time.
