Hello! Moth here, i'm new :) !
I saw this forum and wanted to ask you if you've been playing Pok�mon smartphone game, Magikarp Jump? What do you think? I like the idea of different patterns on Magikarp!
(i love Magikarp, hehe, and Slowpoke, and having a game where a Slow can cheer to a Karp is awesome! :o_o: haha)

What do you think? Should they be releasing more games like this? Should they make the pattern thing a THING in pokemon handheld games? :P

I've upgraded most of my training equipment, specially the first two to make them worth it. I can gain up to 15k JP from Boldore Push!
I don't think upgrading berries is worth it, though.

Thanks! I had heard somewhere that the berries were "worth it" since there's a constant stream of them. However I think I agree with you here and I'm upgrading my training equipment.

Rowling (how is taggin?!, haha) i've been upgrading it all, it costs a lot... when you catch a Karp it may say that it gets +xx% by events/training/eating; that's why i keep upgrading, but haven't looked if it really makes some difference...

I've only gotten like Calico magikarps and one orange stripy one.. No good ones at all.

This is what I found on some forums.


1. Continuously tap on Magikarp in the pond. Eventually, you'll see a notification that the Everstone broke.

2. Level up Magikarp, at least to level 20.

That's it! Your Magikarp will evolve into a mighty Gyarados. Keep in mind though that this will permanently retire the Magikarp! Evolving Magikarp will also unlock the Event No. 34, "Adios, Gyarados!".

Apparently you can also get a shiny Garydos if you evolve a Gold Magickarp too.

uuh! i abandoned pok�mon go even before Sun/Moon relase; was kinda disapointed by how it was running on my cel and that there was no legendary at all! hahahah (also winter was comming to Punta Arenas, and i can't stand strong winds :( , so i stoped)
At first i was sceptic with KarpJump, but ended up being pretty and fun c:

Ohh.... Sun/Moon was different indeed, but not everyone's taste; i found it pretty easy and they still don't make a better story than Black/White 1/2; still play it tho...

but this is about KARPJUMMMPPPP!!!!! hahaha, today i got a Dratini, but i released it because Magikarp is better, y'know?...

Sica it is addicting, with all that karp cuteness and jokes :p

Also i play it most during my job/work pauses, check it, play what i can play and then leave it, if you wait enough every time you open it there's Manaphy willing to give you berries :o_o:

Farming coins (don't farm if under 100% coin karp) at max level is the best way to maximize coins for upgrading and requires less effort than sitting on the game 24/7. I'm sitting at 20mil coins myself. Going for 100 then will splurge on new berries
