Personally, nothing feels better than biking. Back when I had one I'd bike for miles and miles a day.

Now I'm resigned to the excercycle at the gym which is far less fun, but it fills the urge.

What about you all? What do you prefer to do?

I prefer swimming because that used to be my sport, but it's less fun when you do it on your own.

I also like grouplessons at the gym.

Weight lifting and golf or tennis for me. Burned myself out wit running when I was on the xc team at school but in the past year I've put on around 30-40 lbs of muscle so I'm not complaining. No longer a twig!

Hiking definitely. I love the mountains.

lifting is second.

Hiking, I guess. I generally prefer backpacking, but I feel like that crosses the line a bit because you don't really frame a two-week trip as "going to work out" if that makes sense?

I also really love running, but I haven't been able to do it for more than a few minutes at a time the past few years.

Lately I've just been doing a lot of the recumbent bike and elliptical. But I've been hoping to look into some climbing gyms.

I used to like taking my dogs for walks. They were happy and I was distracted from the actual work out.

But now without them around I rely on my job. Constantly on the move means no lazy pounds to pack on.

Just need three things: A treadmill, headphones, and some hype music.

and then taking a literal walk in the park after all that running to cool off.. ^.^

Also some basketball, either a game or just some random shooting.

I live right next to a park so like to run around the trails in there during the summer. In the winter, it's too cold for me to run outside so I actually just do yoga at home.

Definitely hitting the gym after a long day at work! Really gets all the stress off your back!

If it's cardio I prefer playing basketball played throughout high school and college. However, I prefer weight lifting now to keep in shape and running every so often.

I really like to ride a bike, and to play volleyball sometimes. I'm not into cardio when I'm at the gym, it takes too much time and I think it's so boring

I'm boring so I like to just use my elliptical or treadmill. If I had the option though it'd definitely be swimming. :)

I like walking, personally. It's something I can do at my own pace (unless there's people behind me on the sidewalk) and something that I can easily zone out while doing. I don't think I could zone out while biking because I would probably crash and die a painful death. I also like hiking, nature is a great stress reliever for me :)

Gotta agree with the other people saying bodyweight, it's so cool because you feel like you're unlocking your potential. Being able to do hand stands, flagstaffs and the like is a really awesome feeling. Plus IMO you look way more ripped than just doing free weights at the gym. You develop muscles you never knew you had.

Work. I work in a warehouse. All day I lift move push and pull boxes. While constantly being on a very exact time crunch. I rarely get to sit down too.

So far down 15-20lbs since Feb of last year. And I get paid to do it!

Definitely lifting and playing basketball. I generally like to go lift alone and it feels pretty relaxing as I like to use my rest time to assess my day and let my thoughts flow while in between sets.

I prefer to go to a gym 3 or 4 times a week, and the rest of the days go out for a walk or run, I've been doing it for quite some time and it's good for me :p

I go to the gym 4 - 5 times a week. My workouts consist of lifting weights and cardio such as HIIT & tabata.
I enjoy hiking and sometimes do yoga or Pilates.

I haven’t been hiking in awhile which I seriously need to do. :(

My go-to is the elliptical. I just feel like it works so many more muscles than walking on a treadmill, especially when I increase the incline. I also enjoy the weight machine, but I've been slacking and have to build up muscle all over again :(

I like doing circuit courses with some buddies. We'd make stuff up or it can be predetermined depending on where we are, but it's always fun for me. I am in no way the best in lifting or cardio or flexibility, but I always win the circuits I'm in and it just makes me feel great knowing that all-around I'm better than my friends.

Swimming is the one exercise I hate to love. It can be a pain in the ass some times, but it is super fun as a team, and it has lead to a lot of opportunities otherwise.

Running. I always run short to medium distances, when I'm going to the Uni or to a friend's house. I specially love windy days and rain.

I head to the gym minimally thrice a week to lift and press.
So far, the consistency is showing results and I am happy about that.

Running is free and nothing beats that for me.
I've been doing a couch to 5k program for about a month now which is nice, also doing some core workouts at home during my off days.

Swimming is nice too whenever I can hit up the lake.

i absolutely love swimming, always have. but i rarely can go swimming, actually, and i hate doing it in public so ...

for the most part, honestly, most of my exercise has come from walking around because of pokemon go. pretty much all my friends play it and we go out pretty often for a few hours and just have a nice time with it.

Swimming is by far my favorite as an ex swimmer, but it's hard for me to get to a pool so normally I run a mile every day and I try to walk outside (normally 4miles+) when I have time.

I also had a fairly busy summer job that kept me on my feet so that's something i'll definitely miss with university starting up again and having to balance everything. I lost 20 lbs this summer and i hope to lose more!

this relies heavily on my mood.
if i am depressed or irritated, running is the only exercise i can muster. running when i'm angry really helps me cool down.
if i'm in a good mood, i'd rather dance and jump around. sillyness is good exercise!
if i'm feeling particularly antisocial, i will just do aggressive cardio in my room, away from the rest of the world.

Anything with music and variety. So cardio aerobics, zumba etc. For some reason, running doesn't really work for me, I give up too easily.

A daily 100 crunches.. it's just so easy to do from anywhere without any equipment required. Think I'll be signing up for the gym soon though, it would be nice to have access to all that equipment that would never fit in my apartment! D:

I don't partake in this anymore because I'm too fucking busy and never have the energy for it anymore BUT I used to really love contra-dancing! It's a social folk type of dancing that doesn't require you going there with a partner. I loved it because I met so many lovely people and had so much fun!

Swimming helps me a lot, and it's so funny.
At gym I always do a 10 mins. run because I don't like running. And then, a routine that I modify sometimes, just to feel fit.

I started doing pull-ups every day... trying to do 50 a day. It's been hard, but worth trying...

I really like to fit my fingers doing a lot of clicks... jk.

Sometimes I like to play football. Then at home, I do pushups and work my abs.

Then a lovely shower ♥
