Playing through Pokemon Prism (Slowly)

I downloaded it a week or two ago and I've been very impressed. But I don't have as much time as I'd like to get through it.

Has anyone else played through it or had experiences with it? The battling seems a little off to me honestly. Certain attacks do a lot more than it seems like they should.

I'm on the first GYM now, so far I like the storyline, and that you can build a very strong team from the beginning I mean I already have an ice, rock, flying, water, pysich, dark/poison team at lv 10 a fire type and I'm done for the rest of the game.

I also noticed that you win xp when you caught a Pokemon I can't remember if you do on the original game but if I remember right you don't so I like that.

EDIT: Nevermind just got cyndaquil has a prize :P


EDIT2: Im now at the plot with the dynamite and wow I must admit I got impressed, never saw the thing with the lights on the cave for me was amazing. Now Im thinkg why this isn't a thing on the real game.

I've been thinking the same thing! I was so impressed with the idea of using electric pokemon!
The developer worked on it for a long time, 4 years from what I understand before he was sent the cease and desist. I feel like pokemon could benefit from including some of these game elements! But with all of the features in the newer games I guess they're making progress in their own way so I'll take what I can get :)

I'm on the 5th gym now, getting through it slowly. I know there are 20 badges planned out, but I haven't made it far enough into the game to find out if they're really all in there! I'll update as I get further into it.

I agree with you on the poke parties being all set up as well. Unless another pokemon comes along that I feel like will be a great addition to my team, I don't feel like I'll be changing it out too much! Which is too bad because there are so many options!

So I have 4 badges now and I found a bug that got me stuck without the option to continue the game further. On the underground when you're facing the color guys after the levers puzzle when you get the jump shoes (getting the item reverts the levers so you can climb to the last lader and reach the last part of the cave where a police man battles you). if for any reason you die after this part you will go back to the last center but without the reverting lever thing you wont be able to reach that last lader so you get stuck here. (Glad I had a save from before this happened).

Ah, that's super frustrating! I just got my fifth badge but I've been super busy lately. I'm glad you had a back up save! I've just been grinding for levels
