View Full Version : Anyone used Freelancer website?

Do you pay the person when you are completely satisfied with their work (as stated in the website)? Or as long as they did the work for you, you will pay them no matter how well they did?

Because Im completely dissatisfied with this freelancer, gave me a program with library problems, wasting my time to debug whats going on. Code has some bugs and underlines which I am so completely lazy to go through everything. Cos time is running out and if it doesnt work on my com, it doesnt work on my group member's com which defeats the purpose as i will get a big fat 0 if that happens.

I used upwork and a person did a good program for me within a day, without any problems and paid him willingly. What should i do with that particular freelancer??

I have 3 tests in a row. Projects and stuff. Late nights everyday. If I don't gamble for it, I will never get things done in the time frame Imo.

I've gotten somebody to put together a site for me before. They usually ask for partial payment upfront and then the rest when the work is completed. That's how I've done it in the past. Once I didn't pay the second part because the person didn't do what I wanted and didn't help me make changes. The other time I paid the person the second part plus a little extra because they went above and beyond. Id never pay all of it upfront though, there's no incentive for them to work hard after that.

Imagine the feeling of opening up Netbeans and the first page that I am interested in the changes, is actually the attached. Who will give their client this? =.=

WhatsUp I am actually one of the freelancer on freelancer. I actualy think its a bad place to get someone to help the quality of the work is very low and I sometime are appalled. I am also on designcrowd SO much better! As a freelancer I get far less competitions won on there but the quality of the work is really good
