Halloween is just around the corner and you can count on the fact that we're going to be hosting a number of fun Halloween events with awesome prizes for everyone to participate in! There will be some recurring favourite events as well as some new ones we're going to try out. There's something for everyone to participate in!

This thread will be updated as more events are started! Only the current up-and-running events will be on here as to not spoil the future event we have planned.

To kick things off, we're hosting a design-your-own-monster contest! This is for the artists and people who like designing.
The objective of this contest is to design an original monster suitable for Halloween!
All forms of drawings are acceptable. We are also going to be allowing things as such online monster makers (example ([Only registered and activated users can see links])) and photo manipulation, but you MUST post credit to the maker or to all of the photos used in order to qualify.
Don't miss out on the amazing prizes for this contest!!

For the horror buffs and writers, we're also hosting a storytelling event, where each new post adds to the same story. Work together as a thread to tell some tales of mystery, danger and things that go bump in the night. Bacchus has started it off with the first part. Who will take up the mantle to continue on this story? How will it progress? How will it end?

'Amazing prizes' is quite modest. I'd actually be afraid to win that Aisha Myriad xD might not live to see Christmas.

Very cool! I'm not much of an artist, but it can't hurt to try. I'm excited! I even did a triple-take on the myriad. Impressive, it is.

Yay for Halloween! I love this time of the year :$
I'll definitely give it a try on the monsters creation contest!

It might be cool too a horror story telling contest or something among those lines in case anyone wants to host a contest too. I would but I don't really have prizes to give lol

That would definitely be a cool idea! It's not on the staff agenda this year but if someone wanted to host a contest like that, that would be really neat. :)
Edit: Well, maybe we'll see about that, actually.. :p
