If I'm VIP can I download any program regardless of the rank requirement? And does the program stop working after your VIP expires? What are the advantages of VIP? I see the extra board and such, but there aren't any programs that are VIP-only. Anyways, thanks for your help! :D

If you're VIP you can download any program. And yes the program stops working after VIP expires.

The programs aren't made to detect it really.

There is an authorization process.
Before you can use the program, you have to sign in using your CK username and password.
This in turn checks it against the site to confirm you have the proper "credentials" in order to use the program.
If you do, it runs the program, if not, it doesn't. :)
