Since the game started, I've been searching for a specific set of pokemon with a friend of mine. We've been looking for:

~Meowth

~Koffing

~Ekans

Today, I caught the meowth I needed to complete my trio.

I also got a package containing:

~One men's James costume

~One women's Jesse costume

~Two team rocket wigs

OH YES. IT's HAPPENING.

Tomorrow, team Rocket strikes. We're going to go take our gym in the center of town using our actual, strong sets of pokemon, and then camp out outside of the Gym. Any time someone rolls up, we're going to bust out the Team Rocket rhyme.

Prepare for trouble,

And make it double!

To protect the world from devastation,

To unite all peoples within our nation,

To denounce the evils of truth and love,

Of course, I'm no fake. As soon as we take down the gym, I'll get some team rocket selfies. My friend is (a guy) and also (on the portly side) so I may be the only one in costume, but tomorrow team rocket blasts off again!

oh oh oh i found a dedicated Pikachu spawn like 30min walk away from my house ill have to camp that bitch once the tracking works so i can find the spawn. i know its there i've walked around for like 2 hours couldn't find that damn thing.

Awesome thinking, Chance. Though I have to admit, I always rathered the Butch and Cassidy version of the motto. Real villains ftw. Except that season in the anime where "regular" Team Rocket were legitimate threats, with sensible plans. That was boring.

I've always loved the butch/Cassidy combo. But to me, part of the allure of the original trio was that they are utter failures. I love that they're so evil but you also feel like they're not all bad, you know?
