i'm on team instinct !!! to be perfectly honest, i never had a favorite between the birds, and none of the teams are my favorite color so i just went with what name i resonated with most.

I chose yellow, it's my favourite colour and owned the 2 gyms I could see in my area... but now they suck and I haven't put in the effort to attack any gyms :)

I chose team Valor! Purely random and me liking the color red.... in hindsight i wish that i would have done a little more research... I especially wish that i would have known about getting pikachu as a starter.

There's now silphroad and subreddits for specific areas... it would probably be wise to find out which color most dominates your respective city (of course this can change with time).
