Those wiz kids at Reddit figured out how to get this WITHOUT going to McDonalds.

Simply use your phone or home modem and change the SSID to McDonalds Free WiFi
(that is the exact name)

Connect your DS to it and download that Hoopa!!

I know that EB games in Australia had the Hoopa, and I'm checking on Friday for Mew. Otherwise, I have Mew codes from the US that I'll need traded to my friend here in Aus. I heard that there will be event Pokemon every month this year, for the 20th anniversary.

Yeah. Sadly I can only participate in the wifi ones as we never get codes here in southeast asia. If they distribute Volcanion via code too I will lose it.
