Thanks, I went ahead and made the change and for the first time in awhile could play Sims on my computer again haha I like it so far it's not as drastic as I thought it was going to be.

I was planning on upgrading over my winter break. I figure enough time has gone by that they have fixed any major bugs.

Since you've upgraded, how do you like it? I'm also coming from Win7 to 10.

I'm liking it so far, games are even running better. I have no complaints, it even looks a bit more fancier than what I'm used to coming from someone who has used only Windows 7 for the past several years. Definitely worth the upgrade!

Came from windows 7 - windows 10. So far I like it, take a little getting used to at first, but it's actually quite nice. I think I like windows 7 a bit better though. Maybe it's just cause I am so used to it and know where everything is on it. Windows 10 looks more sleek and seems to run very good though.

Yes you should, all vulnerability exploits happen in older version of Windows, because of the lack of focus on security on previous releases.

Windows focuses on their newer releases, such as Windows 10, which make them more safe to use if you follow safety protocols. Hackers may not have the intelligence and knowledge to find the exploits in the newer releases of windows, making you less vulnerable if you stay updated!

psh and fooey, hackers find vulnerabilities regardless, doesnt matter if its a legacy OS or not. Its all about ease of access, and squeezing better performance out of newer architecture, because lets face it. If you were really THAT worried about security, you wouldnt be running windows anything in the first place.

But to put my two cents in, I didn't care for windows 10 at first, but after some extensive customization and reg hacks I found it to be much more tolerable. There is one thing that I do really like in 10 that is missing in 7, it comes with an official package manager for command line install.
