The most common thing I've heard of is the MotioninJoy one, but there's so much speculation on if this is malware or not. ._. Have you any personal experience with this? Will +rep for any helpful answers!

(it's for Skyrim, not sure if that matters.)

Munna you can get Xbox controllers to work on PC, their YouTube videos explaining to get it to work.

Not to sure for PS controllers though sorry but I know for sure Xbox controllers do, Xbox 360 controllers are super cheap atm too.

I've been using XPadder with my PS3/PS4 controllers for years.
The latest version costs ~$10 but you can get the earlier versions for free online and they work nearly as well

Get a PS4 controller instead. No hassle. :)

I've been using Motioninjoy. Can testify that it works pretty well :D
