clraik is hosting a YouTube Video Contest! This contest is to help all new and existing members to rank
up easily if you feel earning reputation is hard. :)

Okay, so what makes this a contest? It's actually not. Just have your video uploaded to your YouTube account,
post it here in your post using the video tags (or just post the URL if you dont know how :P) and you will
receive your free reputation!


Rules of this contest are as follows:

1) MUST contain your referral link in the description of the video, video name must be show that it is a neopets program, and the program description must have a download link leading to your referral. You may copy a programs current description to use for your videos description.
2) MUST be no less than 30 seconds in length
3) MUST be advertising a clraik program ONLY (MOST IMPORTANT, IF YOU DON'T HAVE THIS, DISQUALIFIED)
4) MUST be unique and not stolen from anywhere (we will know)
5) MUST have many popular tags added (ex: neopets hacks, neopets autobuyer, autoplayer, cheats, hacks,) *Check my program topics like Stealth Buyer for examples
OPTIONAL (helps video popularity):
*) Talking in the video is recommended for more reputation
*) Having many subscribers will increase view count
*) Any others I will think of in the future :P

i was thinking more of basically, showcasing clraik rather than just a single program, but i'm not sure if that would fit in with the rules (?)

No, must be uploaded the same day as the post you make. :P If anything, just re-upload the videos.

Also, like mentioned you can get as much reputation as you want, there is no limit in how many videos you can post!

Nah, people want programs really. They want to see programs and the programs fully functioning, doing what they are supposed to be doing.

It's hard to make a video of yourself saying "hey, join clraik to be a part of a great community!" and actually have people join.

kooldude888 nice job on the video but it's kind of hard to see what you're doing, you should record the program window only. :P Also, your description can be better, add a small sentence on the program and then have "Download: " and your referral link. Otherwise people will think it might be an unsafe link or something.

zxzero great video! You didn't demonstrate the use of the program and your program description was just a link, so you didn't get all 10 rep.

Waffy, all videos met the requirements, great stuff!

Just a small tip, next time extract the files of each program into a folder so that the people watching don't do the same. It usually needs to be extracted in order for the program to work. :P Nice job though! That's a total of +50 rep!

To the people who have just gotten their rep, you might as well just copy and paste my program description in the video desc. and add your referral link as the download. Some people might not want to go through the hassle of registering, so don't mention that. Having them click your link thinking it's a download is better than having them not click it at all. If they visit, they are more inclined to registering after seeing all the programs posted.

You have to name them something like "Neopets Pet Trainer Program" or "Neopets Mass Username Grabber Program", something telling the people that this is a program video.. not a guide. :) Also the video descriptions can be better, read previous posts on what I said that will help get you more views!

Unfortunately the majority of our programs do not run on anything but Windows, so you will have to install Windows via VMWare or some other program that enables you to boot Windows on your Mac.
