View Full Version : Anybody Interested in Tournaments?

So, as the title clearly states, would anybody be interested in doing tournaments within the forum? Someone or some people would obviously have to be in charge of it, which unfortunately can't be me simply due to how much work I have to do for school. But maybe there could be monthly tournaments, with various formats or restrictions that vary from month to month. For instance, one month could be Double Battles for Steel types only, and another month could be Single Battles with no restrictions, etc. These announcements could be posted on the first of each month and the tournament could start maybe a week or two after. And there could be various prizes based on how many entrants there are and what the restrictions would be. Does anyone think this might be enjoyable?

A tournament definitely sounds fun, I'd join a few depending on the rules. :)

I can help set this up to those interested. We would do this on a website like Pokemon Showdown so that anyone on Ck can play, not just people with Nintendo 3DS!

looklook123123 That would probably work, and it would be a great help if you could set it up. The only problem I have with Showdown is that the frequency of hax seems to be much higher than in regular games. It's just a significant irritant to me, but I could work with it :P SCf3 I was just intending on changing it up every month or so, to keep things fresh. It can be anything from specific types to Singles/Doubles/Triples/Rotation to baby Pokemon, just whatever seems enjoyable at the time!

Yeah I could set something up. PS! would be best since not everyone can access a 3DS or battle ready high IV pokemon.
