If you notice my thread from a couple years ago, I went from 240, to 198. Well I was back up to 230 last month. Self control was an issue and I was done dealing with it. I cut all meat out of my diet, I'm on a life changing goal to get down to 170 (factoring in muscle mass) with little body fat.

I guess I qualify for the category of lacto-ovo vegetarians.
It's been two weeks since I stopped eating meat completely and I feel absolutely amazing. I don't have problems waking up in the morning, I have much more energy then I used too.
All I really eat are (eggs (3), strawberries (6), blueberries (15), banana (1)) - That is my morning breakfast. Of course I drink 2-4 protein shakes a day. (50%water/50%milk.) (soon to be no milk)
Now that I'm feeling so well, my next goal is to cut out all the yokes from my eggs and only eat egg whites.

But I'm afraid I'll start disliking eggs, so I need ideas for foods I can cook to keep me satisfied while sticking to my lifestyle choice.
& If it matters, I benchpress and curl 4 days a week. I'd like to start working on cardio, but it's so fucking cold out here.

You can try using tofu and pearl mushrooms as meat substitutes.

I'll look into tofu, I've never been a big fan of mushrooms but maybe my pallet will change.
Thank you ^.^
by the way, there was a post you made a month or so ago and you were like "Y u talkin to yourself for?" and it killed me, I spit out my drink and laughed for probably 15 minutes straight with my gf looking at me like I'm stupid. Just wanted to say thanks for the laughs

Ah Joe I really wish I could, but I'm around 20 miles away from town and making that trip now wouldn't be to bad, but as soon as gas is at $4 a gallon again I'd be screwed.
I guess it could be temporary, until summer time. I'll call in and check their monthly rates.
Thanks Joe! :)

I dont really have any advice since I suck at dieting myself... :C
But, here are some positive words of encouragement!
Keep going at it, I believe you can get there. C:
You were so close last time.. Just try not to forget the end sight of the goal!

My metabolism's still pretty high, so it's been smooth sailing for me.

But I do recommend getting some dumbbells and just doing curls, shoulders, and back exercises.

Soy is just a good alternate in general for most things.

You can do it!

I cut out all sugar, wheat & dairy and lost 10lbs in three days. Overall I lost 25lbs, and have introduced all those food groups again moderately and have stayed between 110-115.

I'm a lacto-ovo vegetarian! If you need any eating tips or great recipes, I can help you! I've been a veggie for over ten years, and I love it: It became a lifestyle! :)
