Anyone ever tried...

Having milk instead of boiled water in the microwave and then dumping that hot chocolate mix in it when its done? I'm scared to try lol, cause I am scared it might go KABOOOOOOOOOM!!!!!! I am talking about making hot chocolate btw.

i've never put it in the microwave :P but i'm sure it'll work just don't put it for like 5 minutes :P

Ohhh that's all I do, you just have to be careful to stir it and not microwave it to long or you will get a film like thing on the top, it is the best :D

just heat up the milk on the stove? im sure it will taste alot better then the microwave.

Some hot chocolate mixes already include milk, so when you make it with milk it gets extra delicious :P.

If the milk gets overheated it will not explode, but it will boil over (i.e., spill all over and make a mess).

If it stays there for a very long time, that spill might actually burn. Don't ask me how I know these things! :rolleyes:

I think the longest time I had milk in the microwave was 3 minutes but nothing happened. But it was toooo hot :D

It's best with milk, makes the hot chocolate much more creamy and tasty. With water, hot chocolate tasted bland in comparison.

Now whatever you do, don't put honey in the microwave for a minute and then attempt to see what it tastes like once it is out. Last time I did that I had a blister on my finger the size of a pea.
