I dunno, bored now, so I felt like starting a Pokemon thread because I am a gigantic nerd. :P And I like people's opinions. So, here we go...

Usefulness in Battle: Salamence

Probably the single most effective and powerful (non-legendary) I have ever raised.

Appearance: Milotic

This Pokemon basically captivates the minds of all Trainers. The difficulty that you have to go through to get it more than pays off when Feebas finally evolves, in battle and out.

Intimidation: Mewtwo

Is there any real doubt for this one? Any time you battle someone, and they toss out a Mewtwo, no matter who you have, everybody thinks the same thing: Oh, shit.

Most Annoying: Zubat

Complain about Magikarp or whatever all you want, but nothing is more annoying than seeing a billion of these in a cave that you are lost in, especially with their Supersonic.

Most Badass: Cubone

Usefulness in Battle : Many legendaries and starters, I really like Mewtwo, Zekrom and Rayquaza

I don't even know about most of the legendaries' use in battle as I try to refrain from them anymore. Usually. And Gengar and Lapras do have a great appearance as well. But yeah, I guess anybody would have that moment no matter what legendary got thrown into battle.

Usefulness in Battle:
This one is a tough one for me! I've had a lot of great pokes. I think one of my favorites is Fearligatr. He has a good attack base, decent speed, and has access to dragon dance AND sword dance. If you use your moves effectively, he can be a great sweeper for your team!

Appearance:
Personally, I would have to say Origin Forme Giratina. I don't know why I love it so much. Maybe it's because it has the perfect mix of scary/powerful/etc. Or maybe I have a fascination with dragons! Idk *shrug*

Intimidation:
Although I agree with you that Mewtwo does strike fear into the hearts of some players (really only the older ones...I'll always remember seeing him at first in Red), I'd have to say I shit my pants every time I see a Garchomp. Every time I've fought one, it has insane attack and speed. With NO FAIL, they always would rip through my team until I had no chance of winning the battle :(

Very good opinions! Giratina is a beast indeed. And yeah, Mewtwo isn't as intimidating with younger players today. I feel old :/ but shockingly I have almost never had a problem with Garchomps, my Salamence always takes them out with Outrage :) Dialga is pretty sick with his type combination, and his appearance is a good one too. And yeah, if you don't know that Houndoom is weak defensively, his devil-dog appearance can be frightening. New category as well! Check it out!

Pretty much any of my water starters, but my #1 out of them being Feraligatr

I tend to specialize my pokemon in the idea that offensive is the best defense, and my starters always end up being my strongest pokemon throughout the game, out of those Feraligatr is my favorite.

Tie between Arbok and Riachu, they're both so fun to draw and I love Raichu's tubblyness. XD

Usefulness in Battle: I must say, my current most successful team is half random pokemon that most people would never try. I've only trained them to level 45ish but they WHIPPED my friends all-legendary and starter level 60 team without him even getting through all my pokemon. So right now, my most useful are Persian (great scout), Manectric, Gyarados, Leafeon, Espeon, Rapidash.

Appearance: Milotic, I agree with all your reasons.

Intimidation: Arceus (I HAVE TO BATTLE A GOD?!)

Most Annoying: Shedinja... if you don't have something he's weak to, he'll wonder guard you all day. x_x

Snorlax is just plain amazing xD its defence and attack are just incredible. Blissey's pretty awesome as well, assuming you're training HP and defence/special defence.

Usefulness in battle: I think Lugia, but I really love that pokemon ^-^ I got Lugia in my NDS game thanks to cheats lol, and gived it the best moves. So I guess that's why Lugia is so useful to me in battles. But I only use her in the game, not when I am battling with other players. :)

Most of the time the pure dragon types are only really weak against other dragons (and how many do you run into in the game?) Plus I just really like dragons.

Gengar has such a diverse & useful move pool it's not even funny. from physic to dark as well as it's natural ghost/poison type combo, he's great in both 1p & 2p

Azumarill!! Omg this thing is has great hp, defense, and special attack. I love my Yenyae she's amazing!!

Picture man's best friend with lightning coming from his fur. Plus they're easy on the eyes ^^

Volbeat is just the cutest little bug and he color match up is so perfect in my opinion
