As you know, clraik has not been online for a day now. This is because our host placed us offline while I had to "fix" the site and make it faster.

I'm in the process of moving our site once my new server is ready. All posts and changed information on clraik will not carry forward, so please expect your postcounts to stay the same as they are from October 19th, 2014 until I move the entire site.

I will post an update when this is done. I'm just sick and tired of HostGator. :mad:

You should either make this a banner under the main clraik banner and toolbar so that everyone can see it, or you should take about an hour or 2 to turn off this forum, backup the data, move it to the new one, and enable the new one. VPS to VPS transfers are incredibly fast. I get ~40MB/s between mine and my friend's. We use each other for backups.

Once you have the LEMP stack set up and configs copied over, you just have to copy the /var/[Only registered and activated users can see links][sitename] folder and export-import the database. Shouldn't take long at all. You can probably do it super fast with rsync instead of tgz'ing and then copying.

I don't know what you're spending a month on hosting but we have a private VPS with WiredTree and they are fantastic to deal with. We moved a lot of our business off of HostGator once they were acquired and we started to see serious downtime and poor support.

Nah. He's just using a backup from the 19th instead of making one when he takes the site down to migrate it.
